He has also represented clients in family matters involving property issues.
Song has created a reputation for himself providing business-focused solutions to his clients’ complicated issues. He prides himself on his simple and concise communication. One of his greatest strengths lies in his ability to relate to clients with diverse backgrounds.
Before immigrating to Canada from his native China, Song attended university and worked for close to ten years, including four years as a paralegal for American law firms in Beijing. This experience informed Song’s ability to understand and address the legal needs of Chinese clients in relation to their business operations and inspired him to study Chinese law. Song’s cross-cultural background has provided him with a nuanced understanding of both the similarities and differences between the laws in each country. This unique perspective and Song’s familiarity with Chinese cultural values serves both his first and second generation Chinese clients.
