Harper Grey is passionate about gender balance and women’s initiatives. The firm is active in various organizations promoting the advancement and inclusion of women in the workplace including the 30% Club Canada, the Justicia Project and the Law Firm Diversity and Inclusion Network.
In early 2020, Harper Grey also initiated the creation and launch of Life in Law (LiL), a readily accessible resource for women lawyers across Canada seeking help balancing life with a legal career. Co-created by Harper Grey partners, Kim Jakeman and Una Radoja, LiL hopes to reduce the exodus of women from the legal profession, by providing them with opportunities to raise issues they face in a confidential environment.
