Abigail is recognized as one of Western Canada’s leading health law litigators.
With over thirty years of experience, Abigail is a senior partner and vital member of our health law group. Over the years, Abigail’s clients have come to know her as knowledgeable, tenacious, and communicative.
She has a busy practice working in medical malpractice defense, administrative law and regulatory matters. Abigail has extensive experience working in the field of professional liability, predominantly in the medical field. Abigail has specific expertise defending physicians in matters involving human rights complaints, hospital privileges, inquests, civil litigation and matters involving the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Abigail was born in England but moved to Canada as a small child. She grew up in British Columbia. She volunteers extensively in her community as a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise and presently sits on the board of the North Shore Stars Volleyball Club. Abigail is a volleyball referee when she can make time to do so. She is also a Life in Law contributor as a LiL Advisor.
